"We have already worked with these clients earlier on the project of their country house, so we immediately had a complete understanding and trust," says designer Alesya Nestyak. — They had few wishes: bright colors and beautiful lighting. And also thoughtful storage: this is always one of the most painful issues in small apartments. It was necessary to figure out where to store books, of which the owners have a lot, and numerous kitchen utensils. In addition, since my clients consciously approach their health, I suggested that they install a high—quality ventilation system, put water filters with PH, oxygen meters, humidifiers - now they are really happy with the climate in their home."

Initially, the apartment was one-room: it had only one bedroom and a kitchen-living room, and the owners of the house were used to sleeping in separate rooms. Therefore, the first thing the designer did was a global redevelopment to create a comfortable environment for each family member. The only thing left untouched is a load—bearing concrete wall with two doorways. Unfortunately, it was impossible to make them taller and larger, so Alesya beat them with the help of decor, visually increasing their size.

The light, almost monochrome palette chosen for the interior does not look monotonous thanks to the skillful work of the designer with textures and volumes. "This interior is a real tactile paradise for a kinesthetic," Alesya believes, "Flowing silk on the panels and decorative plaster, velvet on the facades of cabinets with thin, iridescent glass, natural honey oak and classic marble. And for the volume, massive Orac molding was used."

The kitchen with graphic facades is made to order according to the sketches of the designer, Orange Park. Dining group, Dantone Home.

The kitchen with a graphic pattern on the facades deserves a separate word. "Together with the furniture designers, we made special cutters, worked on joining large moldings on the combined facades, adjusted everything to a common ceiling cornice… In general, we have created a product that is likely to go further into mass production," the designer says with pride.

"The entire implementation of the facility occurred during the pandemic, the closure of salons and shops, not to mention the delivery from Europe," recalls Alesya. — I managed to find everything in Russia, to support local St. Petersburg productions. The work was delayed, sometimes we waited for cars from Moscow for several weeks, because the drivers are also sick, but it was worth it. The only thing we took from a wholesale warehouse in Munich was plumbing and lighting — we were very lucky that everything was available."
