A few years ago, in search of a secluded place to relax, Seth and Emily Britt (Emily and Seth Britt) built their first house out of shipping containers. Today, The Box Hop has three completed projects on its account. The last of them is a two—storey guest house with five bedrooms in Scandinavian style. It is located in the middle of a forest in a remote settlement near a natural gem — the Hocking Hills State Park. Inside the house there is comfort and tranquility thanks to the interior in bright colors, clear lines and an abundance of wood elements.

The house is built of seven stacked cargo containers and is suitable for large families and companies. On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen-living room with a large soft sofa and a wood-burning fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows erase the boundary between the interior and the surrounding landscape, which allows natural light to fill the entire space. The landscape outside the window, changing throughout the year, becomes part of the interior, revealing itself in a new way each time.

On the second floor there are bedrooms with separate bathrooms and balconies. The main feature of the house is a place for relaxation and relaxation: a sauna with a view of a forest grove, a hot tub and an outdoor patio with a barbecue grill and a hanging fireplace.

Everything here is subordinated to the idea of minimalism, practicality and elegance inherent in the Scandinavian style.
