Steakhouse in Arizona with an inverted pyramid in the center of the hall

Designer Alexis Ridinger designed the interior of a steakhouse in a casino owned by a Native American community. In the center of the hall of the institution there is a structure resembling an inverted pyramid of the Maya Indians

A new Prime steakhouse has opened in one of the Arizona casinos owned by the Gila River Indian Community. It is located on the eleventh floor, offering a fascinating view of the surrounding landscape. Alexis Readinger worked on the design of the restaurant, who decided to move away from the traditional image of a casino restaurant and turn to the local nature and traditions for inspiration. Low shrubs, branching cacti and other vegetation found in the Sonoran Desert and in the foothills of Arizona inspired the designer to non-trivial solutions.

In addition to the surrounding nature and Indian culture, the designer was inspired by the "French aesthetics".

The interior of the Prime steakhouse is made in earthy tones. In the center of the main hall there is a seating area with soft sofas with a back made of rainbow limestone (they serve as a kind of partitions zoning the room). Above them hangs an unusual structure resembling an inverted Mayan pyramid. It is covered with rough plaster and therefore resembles a stone.

The central element of the composition is a relief pyramid carved out of stone, growing out of the ceiling.

All upholstered furniture in the restaurant is upholstered in reddish-red suede. The same shade is chosen for one of the waiting areas, the second zone is painted in a rich dark green color, which is then repeated in the design of the bathrooms. The walls are covered with green glazed tiles, and the sinks are made of lava stone.

The sinks in the toilet area are made of lava stone.

The recreation areas are made in two monochrome scales — reddish-reddish and dark green.

And the most cozy place in the restaurant is an outdoor terrace with iroko wood furniture and sculptural built—in shelves. In the evenings, lighted candles are placed on them — an ideal place to admire the evening landscape and think about the eternal.
