Places to eat in a beautiful setting

Pâté & Co

The interior design of the French brasserie Pâté was done by Albina Nazimova. The designer managed to recreate the image of the classic brasserie of France of the 60-70 years of the XX century: black and white tiles on the floor, an abundance of green in the decoration and furniture, vintage dressers, wicker lamps, a lot of greenery and the main attraction is a wall depicting banana palm leaves. Brasserie is located on two floors. On the ground floor there is an open kitchen, high tables, as well as comfortable window sills in huge panoramic windows. On the second floor, a more intimate atmosphere has been created – square tables and armchairs.

Salumeria

The interior of the Salumeria restaurant was invented by the Sundukov sisters based on the associations of businessman Vladimir Davidi and chef William Lamberti with Italy of the 60s, "the time of my parents, which I almost did not find and which I can only imagine," says William. Matte gilding, white tiles, dark wood, organic aging, Diptyque candles placed everywhere and marble round countertops, on which dishes clatter loudly — a moderately luxurious interior that fits perfectly into the landscape of the Patriarchs.

"Technical school"

The design of the gastrobistro was handled by the architectural bureau Form of Olga Treivas and Vera Odyn. The small hall of the "Technical School" is divided into two conditional zones: the first one is opposite the open kitchen and the bar — for those who prefer to watch the cooks work. Through the second zone with panoramic windows and a fresco by Dmitry Aske, you can access a small terrace with separate tables — the concentration of waiters is higher here, but there are more people, and the tables are denser. The soul of the interior is the walls painted by street art artist Dmitry Aske.

Grand Cafe "Doctor Zhivago"

White tablecloths, red and white armchairs, red glass glasses, white walls, red carnations — the whole interior is built on a combination of two colors and paintings by artists of the XX century: Malevich, Petrov-Vodkin, Deineka and Samokhvalov, plus mini-sculptures of Soviet design from Gorky Park. The interior, invented by architect Anastasia Panibratova, needs to be seen live: any retellings and even the best photos do not fully convey the light festive atmosphere of Doctor Zhivago.

"Beluga"

The second project of Anastasia Panibratova, located next door to the grand cafe "Doctor Zhivago".The atmosphere of the establishment located on the second floor of the National Hotel is really luxurious. And although the architect Anastasia Panibratova knows how to do without pretentious pomposity, keep in mind that the interior itself will tell you the formal dress code. Myriads of crystal pendants of huge chandeliers, reflected in numerous mirrors, fill the hall with brilliance and special solemnity. These lamps were specially designed by the designer, as well as almost all pieces of furniture, including an unusual bar counter that resembles an old caviar bowl in shape. Volumetric facets of Bohemian crystal effectively cast sunlight on the parquet floor and walls upholstered in soft gray leather. From portraits on the walls, Russian beauties in embroidered sundresses and kokoshniks look at visitors, as if they came from photographs of the famous imperial costume ball of 1903. Above all this, the ceiling hovers blue, like the sky before a thunderstorm. Sevryuga and sturgeon dishes are served here on Bernardaud plates, and wine is served in Baccarat crystal glasses. The pathos of the atmosphere of the royal feast is only violated by an unusual panel-a high relief made of white plastic mesh, created by the famous Recycle art group and depicting Russian princesses taking selfies - new times dictate their rules even at Red Square.
