The founders of the FullHouseDesign studio, Pavel and Maria Ivanov, work together on projects: "Our creative union is good because it allows us not only to better understand the wishes of customers, but also to look at the task from different points of view," they say. However, this project may have become the most difficult in their career: "We often hear the phrase: "do it for yourself," but believe me, creating your own interior is a real challenge!".

In this apartment on the Petrogradskaya side in St. Petersburg, the three of them live with their son. It is located in a former apartment building erected in 1912. It was important for the spouses to organize the space so that each family member felt comfortable in it.

The living room was freed from everything superfluous, neutral white shades were chosen for the kitchen, and the accent wall was left raw brick — as a reminder of the history of the house. Another task was to make as many storage spaces as possible, and it was possible to perform it as accurately as possible.

On an area of 90 m2 there are also children's and master bedrooms. For the latter, unexpected dark shades were chosen, but the black burnt wood in the headboard and the decoration of other surfaces do not look gloomy, but on the contrary, immerse in an enveloping atmosphere of tranquility. And the workspace in the living room is hidden behind the closet in the living room, but it is equipped as conveniently as possible.

The designers moved into the apartment a couple of years ago, and all this time they slowly filled the house with missing furniture, art and accessories. "If we decided on the layout pretty quickly, then there were disagreements in the choice of decor," says Maria. — Pasha is more of a minimalist, and I gravitate towards antiques. One day I managed to buy a beautiful French chandelier of the XIX century for the dining room, which eventually determined the general direction of the search. So, gradually, the future interior of our apartment began to take shape."
