"The owners of the apartment, a young married couple with a daughter, are fond of Vastu - the ancient Indian teaching about the organization of space in harmony with energy The universe. Although we ourselves are not adherents of this philosophy, we studied its principles and adhered to them in working on the project, so the heart of the apartment appeared — a round hall in the center," says designer Egor Danilov.

"All the other rooms are built around the hall. From it you can get into the living room with kitchen, master bedroom, nursery, hallway and utility block. The connections between the individual zones are thought out taking into account the lifestyle of customers. For example, we have provided an additional door from the TV area to the master bedroom, and in the boudoir of the spouse there is a window facing the kitchen through which sunlight enters the room."

"Wall panels with portals and hidden doors are widely used in the project. The round hall is decorated with curved panels with hidden storage areas. Their geometry is emphasized by the layout of natural stone on the floor and the rounded box of illumination. In the hallway, we used corrugated panels and added doors with the same unusual texture to them."

"There was also a search for new solutions. For example, in the bedroom we wanted to make a wall of glass blocks. Usually they are laid on black or white glue, which did not suit us very well. Then the builders and I developed a technology for laying on transparent glue. The result exceeded all expectations!".

"Another important detail was the wallpaper with an individual design. Drawings for the living room, bedroom and nursery were created together with the artist, and then the Italian factory printed them in a wide format."
